Gregory John Hyde

Gregory Greg John Hyde, 47 of Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly Thursday September 4, 2008 in Iowa as a result of injuries sustained in a trucking accident. Greg was born to Leland and Beatrice Hyde on May 6, 1961. He resided in Ripon and Oshkosh area all of his life. He graduated in 1979 from Ripon Senior High School. He married Debra S. Pongratz on October 6, 1989.Greg and Deb were owner/operators of Hydeway Express Trucking Co. He loved riding his Harley and was a life member of the hog owners association. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Anyone who knew him knows he loved a good debate. He was so kind hearted and he will be sadly missed by his family and friends.He is survived by his wife, Deb Hyde; his mother, Beatrice Hyde; brother, Larry Hyde; sisters, Jackie (Bob) Medvecz, Sue (Roy) Duxstad all of Oshkosh; and Julie (Mike) Basel, and his niece and nephew, Lexi and Alex of Madison. He is also survived by his aunts, Laura Martin, Florence (Paul) Conant, and Donna Carew; mother-in-law, Sharon Pongratz; father-in-law, David Pongratz and his cousins. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Lee Hyde.Gregs funeral will be Sunday September 7, 2008 at 4:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside. Burial will be in Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett, WI.
