Harold Francis Gentz

Harold F. Gentz, 85, of Oshkosh, formerly of Milwaukee and Lannon, died on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Bethel Home, Oshkosh, WI. Harold was born in Milwaukee on April 21, 1925 the son of Edward and Marie Fessler Gentz. Harold married Vivian Rouse on January 24, 1948 in Milwaukee.Harold was a World War II Marine Corps veteran. He had been a truck driver in the Milwaukee area and was a former member of the Lions Club and a member of American Legion Cook Fuller Post 70.Survivors include his wife, Vivian Gentz of Oshkosh; sons, Paul (Kelly) Gentz of Milwaukee, Patrick Gentz of Juneau, Thomas (Janet) Gentz of Germantown; daughters, Chris (Randy) Zimmermann of Greenville, Candy (Tom) Panizza of Wauwatosa, Cathi (Doug) Kressin of Milwaukee, Cyndy (Mark) Homuth of Sussex; 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 5:00 PM the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with Deacon John Ingala officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
