Harold Harvey Hermann

Harold H. Hermann, age 90 of Oshkosh died at Park View Health Center on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. He was born on April 24, 1921, a son of the late Charles and Erna Pautsch Hermann. Harold married Lucille Aaronson on October 17, 1964 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on February 27, 1988.Harold served his country in the U.S.Army during WWII and was stationed in the Philippines and New Guinea. His decorations included the American Theater Ribbon, the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star. He retired from Mercury Marine Company. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Harold enjoyed traveling, gadgets and surfing the internet.Survivors include two step-daughters, Marilyn Dolley, of Kill Double Hills, North Carolina; Sharon (James) Dahlke of Oshkosh; two step sons, Charles (Janet) Aaronson of Oshkosh and Ronald (Dolly) Aaronson of Alvin, Texas; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Grace Hermann of Waupun. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence, Lester Delmer and Earl Hermann.Private funeral services and Military Honors were held at Lake View Memorial Park with Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Harolds family wishes to thank the staff at Park View Health Center, Prairie Side South for all the compassionate care given to Harold. Also we are so grateful to Pastor Paul Lidtke, Ken, Sue, Cassie and Dawn for their heartfelt caring as Harold passed on to his Heavenly Home.
