Helen Elizabeth Dillman, age 77, passed away on Sunday, February 17th, 2013 peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was born June 9, 1935 to Rosilea and Henry Weymouth/Dillman. On March 5th, 1960 she married the love of her life Edward A. Dillman. Together they were blessed with five children. Prior to retiring she worked for SNC Manufacturing as a set up operator. Helen was a member of Post #7 Ladies Auxiliary, where she spent many hours knitting over 1,000 pairs of scarves, hat, and mittens for those in need. After retirement she and Ed spent much of their time at their cabin up north. Helen and Ed spent time fishing and loved spending time with their family. She is survived by son Michael (Debra Butch) Dillman and their children Brent (Beth Seaman); Jenny (TJ Andre) Rost; Wendi (Erik Staerkel); great-grandchildren Adam, Olivia, Madison, Jackson, Nicole, Lynn Kay, Troy, and Wyatt; daughter Kim Kopp and her children Caroline and Alan; daughter Lynn (Andy) Jones and their children Cameron and Elizabeth; daughter Colleen (Michael) Stadler and their children Alicia Dillman and Katie Stadler; great-grandson Gabriel; son James Dillman; brother Denny (Kathleen) Dillman; life-long friend Lynn Cuske; aunt Loretta Liddle and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Edward; parents Henry and Rosilea; mother-in-law and father-in-law Charles and Barbara Dillman; brother Richard; brothers-in-law Frank (Frederica) Dillman and Vernon (Mary Ann) Dillman; and son-in-law Wayne A. Kopp. She was a great lady who was loved by everyone and she always gave more than she had.The family would like to thank Dr. Weber; Mercy Medical ICU staff; Affinity Hospice; and Evergreen Retirement Community for all the love and care they provided. Services for Helen will be held Friday, February 22nd, 2013 at All Saints Lutheran Church (1072 Honey Creek Rd.) with Pastor Kim Krogstad officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 with the service being at 6:00 PM. There will be a private graveside burial on Saturday, February 23, 2013. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice in Helens name would be appreciated.
