Helen L Kaufmann

Helen L. Kaufmann, 92 of Oshkosh, died Monday August 24, 2009 at Gabriel's Villa. She was born in Oshkosh on February 5, 1917 daughter of Harvey and Linda Voight. On January 2, 1937 she married Ray Kaufmann in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on July 30, 1991.Helen had been a devoted housewife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crocheting, and always had a smile or kind word for her neighbors and friends. Helen also enjoyed her years of volunteering at Bethel Home. Helen was a member of Elk's Ladies. She will be dearly missed.She is survived by a son, Darryl (Judy) Kaufmann of Delafield, WI; a daughter, Judith (Kurt H.) Brandt of Ft. Mohave, AZ; sister, Marion Kaufmann of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Michael (Juli) Kaufmann, Christopher (Tina) Kaufmann, Nannette (James) Macy, Kurt R. Brandt, Kenneth (Diane) Brandt; great grandchildren, Fredrick Kaufmann, Auna Kaufmann, Benjamin Murphy, Austin Macy, Jack Macy, Ryan Brandt, Jessica (Eric) Johnson, Kyle Brandt, and step great grandson, Michael Biddick. She was preceded in death by her brother, Delmer Voight, and sister, Dorothy Davis.Her funeral will be Friday August 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside with Chaplain Vicki Marxen officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
