Helen Marie Kasarsky

Helen M. Kasarsky, 88, Oshkosh, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017. She was born December 8, 1928, in Manitowoc, the daughter of Stanley and Christina (White) Halverson. At the age of three they moved to Oshkosh. Helen graduated from Oshkosh High School in January 1947. Helen married Leonard Kasarsky August 7, 1954, at First English Lutheran Church, and he preceded her in death March 21, 2017. Helen was employed by Miles Kimball Company for a part of her life. She enjoyed working puzzles, word searches, and car rides up north. She was a fan of Badger basketball, the Green Bay Packers, and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Helen is survived by her sons: James and David (Barbara) Kasarsky, both of Oshkosh; a step-grandson, Michael DiMatteo Jr., Madison; a brother-in-law, Robert (Yvonne) Kasarsky, Menasha. In addition to her husband, Helen was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers-in-law: Carl and Joseph Kasarsky.
Funeral services will be private. Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband Leonard in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
