Helen Meyer

Helen Meyer, 96 of Oshkosh died on Friday, December 14, 2007 at St. Mary Hospital in Green Bay. She was bon in New York City on February 21, 1911, a daughter of Peter and Mary Trozik Siegman. She married Berthold Bert J. Meyer on March 10, 1928 in North Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1989.Helen was a member of the First Baptist Temple, participated in the Wednesday Bible Study Group, volunteered at Court Tower, and enjoyed playing piano, baking, cooking and journaling. She was a member of A.A.R.P, and an avid Packer fan. Survivors include a daughter, Helen D. Schroeder, Oshkosh; nine grandchildren, Karen Hopp, Patti Martens, Nancy (David) Luther, James Schroeder, Russell Meyer, Mike Meyer, Stephanie Meyer, Greg Meyer, Brad Meyer and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bert J. and William Meyer, two grandchildren, one brother, John Siegman and a sister, Bertha Shatswell.Funeral services will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Eastside on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Daryl Marco officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.
