Herbert F. Weber, age 90, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Herbert was born to the late Herbert E. and Esther (Boelter) Weber on November 2, 1927 in Oshkosh. He married Ellen Jane Sitter on May 8, 1954 and enjoyed 55 years of marriage until her passing on December 16, 2009. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a cost accountant for Rockwell International in Oshkosh and Hillshire Farms of New London. He also was a business manager of St. Mary’s Parish in Menasha. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
In his early years, he was a member of the Oshkosh Yacht Club and sailed in regattas on Lake Winnebago. In their later years, Herbert and Ellen enjoyed spending time with family and friends at their summer home on Legend Lake. One of his best loved hobbies was model railroading.
He is survived by his two daughters, Gay Ann (Richard) Lukes, Kay Ellen Felker; and two grandchildren, Sara Ann Rodriguez, and Joshua James Felker.
In addition to his parents, He is preceded in death by his sister, Lila Mae Weber.
In accordance with Herbert’s wishes, no services will be taking place. A burial will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the patient care, social services, and Hospice staff at St. Paul’s Elder Services for their kind, caring, and loving care of Herbert.
