Herman Robert Fritz

Herman R. Fritz Jr., of Oshkosh, passed away Sunday November 29, 2015 surrounded by his children at his home. He was born on September 10, 1930 in Oshkosh a son of Herman and Margaret Grose Fritz Sr.Herman was a loving father, grandfather, and husband(Yvonne) for 52 years. He was a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Army serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars and a retiree of Mercury Marine. He enjoyed being the best fisherman on Lake Winnebago, vacationing up north with his children, and was an avid Packer and Badger fan.He is survived by his children Diane(Steve) Borski, James(Tami) Fritz, John(Carmen) Fritz Laurie(Dale) Mishleau, Linda(Tim) Grant, Lisa Drew, grandchildren Kristina(Jim) Cartwright, Melissa(David) Morris, Megan Fritz, Andrew Fritz, Madelyn Fritz, Kassanda Fritz, Corinn Fritz, Sara Roberts, Alexander Grant, Emma Drew, Sophie Drew, Carter Drew, great-grandchildren Bennett Cartwright, Isabelle Cartwright, one brother Gilbert Fritz of Arizona, two sisters Sally Helm of Oshkosh, Nancy(Jack)Meyer of Florida.He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Robert Herman Fritz, daughter Kathy Carlson, son-in-law Marlo Roberts Jr., granddaughter Alana Grant, and sister Betty Caris.A memorial visitation will be held on Friday December 4, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside from 1-3 pm. Followed by a short service and full military honors.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.The family would like to thank Dr. Alzoubi and his staff as well as Affinity Hospice for the care they have given him.
