Hilda Magdalene Boushele

Hilda M. Boushele went to meet her Lord and Savior on July 1, 2017. She was born February 7, 1919 to Arthur and Anna (Schwebke) Madaus and married William J. Boushele on July 2, 1949 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Nekimi.
During her life, Hilda was employed as a seamstress for C.A. Newberger Company and Kings Industries and was also employed by Oshkosh Trunk and Luggage. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church where she studied her bible in Cross Connections Bible Study and was a Member of the Ladies Tuesday Morning and Precept Bible Study for many years.
Hilda enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Hawaii. She loved to spend time in Florida meeting friends and playing cards. Her favorite place was in the kitchen cooking and baking and she enjoyed sewing for her family.
Hilda is survived by her husband of 68 years, William; one son Keith of Oshkosh; two daughters, Kathleen (Randy) Pohlman of Lake Mills; and Jan (Dave) Hanke of Oshkosh. She is further survived by five grandchildren; Tamara Boushele (special friend Mike Kroll) of Oshkosh; Ryan Pohlman (special friend Marcy Emilio) of Rolling Meadows, IL; Reid (Elisa) Pohlman of Madison; Douglas, Jr. (Liz) Bladorn of Oshkosh; Danielle Bladorn (special friend Nic Barger) of Appleton and five great-grandchildren; Kyra Boushele, MacKenzie Kroll, Henrik Bladorn, Oliver Bladorn, and Aubrielle Pohlman. She is also survived by one sister and brother-in-law; Arlene and Wayne Miller and one sister in law; Beatrice Madaus along with many nieces and nephews.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law Lucille and Gregory Spanbauer; one brother; Harry Madaus and two brothers and sisters-in-laws Norman (Beverly) Madaus; Edwin (Marge) Madaus and one infant brother Herbert.
A Funeral service for Hilda will be held at 11AM on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Konrad-Behlman Westside (100 Lake Pointe Drive). Rev. Timothy Greenwald will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 9AM until the time of service. A burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Home for all of their care and concern over the past months.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
