Ione Eunice Finch

Ione E. Finch, 80, of Carmel Residence, Oshkosh died Monday, April 30, 2007 at her residence. She was born December 9, 1926 in Red Wing, MN a daughter of the late John and Edna (Stumpf) Veith. Ione married Keith E. Finch on Dec. 7, 1946 in Red Wing, MN. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2003. Ione was a life long member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. She was an active member of the Churchs Womens Guild and various Bible Study Groups and enjoyed baking and cooking. Her survivors include two daughters Nancy (Lee) Heffernon of Madison and Bonny (Michael) Juedes of Oshkosh, four grandchildren who were the greatest joy of Iones life, Lori Heffernon of Madison, Heidi Heffernon of Waunakee, Joshua M. Juedes of Madison, and Matthew K. Juedes of Oshkosh; one sister, Virginia Langsdorf of Cannon Falls, MN; one brother, Dale (June) Veith of Red Wing MN; one sister-in-law, Goldie Veith of River Falls; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two infant twin sons Wayne and Warren; two brothers, Leroy and Frederick Veith; and one sister, Elaine Brumm. Funeral services for Ione will be held Thursday May 3, 2007 at 6:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-East, Rev. Greg Smith officiating. Family and friends may call at the Waugoo funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 PM to the time of the service.
