Irene Ann Totsky

Irene Totsky passed away on September 1, 2023, following a long journey with cancer. She was born May 7, 1952, to Roland and Cecelia Senner in West Bend, Wisconsin. She graduated from Marion University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She met Scott, the love of her life in 1977 and they were married in 1979. Together they had two children, Kimberly and Christopher.

Irene had a love of life and was passionate about travel, her work, and her family.

She is survived by her son, Christopher; daughter, Kimberly (Travis) Karlgaard; grandsons, Scott and Daniel Totsky; sister, Carol (Ken) Birkeland; brothers, Paul and Frank Senner; and many other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death is her husband, Scott Totsky; parents; and sister, Janet.

A private family graveside service will take place at Riverside cemetery. Because of this, the family would ask that any donations be directed to the Mayo Clinic to support cancer research, in lieu of sending flowers.
