Irene Mueller

Irene L. Mueller, 84 of Oshkosh, died Saturday December 22, 2007 at Bethel Home. She was born in Fond du Lac, WI on May 23, 1923 the daughter of John and Valeria Celichowski Spanbauer. On July 13, 1946 she married Harold L. Mueller in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2002.Irene had been employed by the U.S. Motors Co. and by the Diamond Match Co. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.Her survivors include two sisters, Jeanette (Vern) Ruppel and Margaret Gawaresky, and a brother, John (Mary) Spanbauer all of Oshkosh, and their children. Irene will also be sadly missed by her nephew, Ben and his wife, Linda Gawaresky of Omro. Irene was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Edward Spanbauer, and two sisters, Helen Steinert and Dorothy Veard. The family would like to thank the staff of Bethel Home for their care of Irene these past years.A memorial service will be conducted for Irene on Saturday December 29, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
