Irene Piller

Irene Piller age 92 of Oshkosh, died at her daughters home on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. She was born in Newberry, MI on August 20, 1920, a daughter of the late Charles and Ida Nikula. Irene married Raymond Piller on August 20, 1941 in Newberry, MI. Raymond preceded her in death on December 17, 1977.Irene retired from the Morgan Doors Company. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, gardening, traveling the world and was an avid Packer fan.Survivors include her two daughters, Ida (Robert) Hetzel of Oshkosh; Paulette Michler of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Michael Robert (Cheryl) Hetzel of Oshkosh; Mark Alan Hetzel of Racine; Shawn Vincent (Lynn) Michler of Kimberly; Stephanie Rae Michler-Dronski of Oshkosh; eight great grandchildren, Robert Harry Hetzel, Samuel Alan Hetzel, Jeffrey William Hetzel, Andrew Michael Hetzel, Matthew John Hetzel, Peyton Elizabeth Michler, Grayson Alexander Michler and Ely Griffin Dronski; niece and nephew, Dory (Keith) Angus of Gladwin, MI; Jerry (Jean) Miller of Waterford, MI and several other nieces and nephews who were all very special to her; best friend Rose Schaele of Oshkosh and grand dogs, Kylie and Boogie. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Germaine Piller; brother, Eric Miller and sister, Elma Hall.Funeral services will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from Noon to the time of service. Entombment will be at the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum, Neenah. A memorial has been established.
