Irene T. Frank, 96, was born to Eternal Life, with her loved ones by her side, on Sunday, May 13, 2012. She was born in Montello on March 21, 1916, to the late Frank & Gertrude (Soblrowski) Habel. Irene was a 1934 graduate of Montello High School. She married Edwin Frank in 1947 and lost him way too soon in 1949. Irene was also preceded in death by her three sisters and two brothers. She worked at Winnebago Mental Health Institute as a Nurses Aide for over 30 years. The rest of her life was devoted to her family and extended family, of which she made no distinction. She was lovingly dubbed Everyones Grandma and Grandma Candy and she lived up to the titles. Irene was loved by everyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting her and was adored by her loved ones. She was a member of St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Parish-former St. Johns Catholic Church. One of the greatest highlights of her life was watching her Green Bay Packers. She is survived by her best friend and only daughter, Janice (Ronald) Gall, Omro; her grandchildren, Sandy Suess, Dave (Nikki) Suess, Oshkosh and Larry Suess, Appleton; her great-grandchildren, Sean Suess, Greensboro, NC, Mandy, Yolanda, and Corrina Suess, Brittany and Brandon Thresher, Oshkosh, and Colin Hartwig, Madison; her great-great-grandchildren, Casey Suess and his mother Andrea Ryfinski, Greensboro, NC, Hailie Augsburger, Brayden and Madysen Gau, and Tanner Stertz; and a cousin Virginia Binder; along with the Keough family she adopted along the way. The family would like to say a special Thank You to the nurses, aides, and all the staff at Parkview Health Center, who always went out of their way to make her feel special, and the staff on 2 West at Aurora Medical Center, who made her, and all the family that spent the last few days of her life with her, comfortable.
