Irving Michael Boettcher

Irving Boettcher, 91, of Oshkosh died on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. Irving was born in Oshkosh on April 2, 1916 the son of Michael and Florence Hartwig Boettcher. Irving married Vallie Schaefer on August 28, 1937 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death in 1980. Irving married Mildred Arnisan on June 11, 1982 in Atascadero, CA and Mildred also preceded him in death.Mr. Boettcher worked at Rockwell International for 34 years retiring in 1975. He then worked at the Rec Lanes. Irving lived in Florida from 1982 to 2003 at that time he returned to Oshkosh. He was an avid golfer and bowler.Survivors include his son, Thomas (Beverly) Boettcher of Oshkosh; one brother, Harvey Boettcher of Fond du Lac; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives; and two brothers, Lawrence and Joe.Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
