James E. Tuttle, 87, of Oshkosh died Thursday April 4, 2013 at his residence. He was born February 26, 1926 in Ripon a son of the late Earl and Elizabeth Zellmer Tuttle. He married Betty Goblirsch on June 3, 1947 in Fresno, CA and she preceded him in death on July 17, 1999.James was a truck driver for many years retiring from Advance Transportation Company. He was a veteran of the Navy serving during WWII. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with Canada being his favorite place to go.James is survived by a daughter, Linda (Ronald) DeBroux of Antigo; a son, Terry (Melody) Tuttle of Oshkosh; a sister Marilyn (Donald) Reif of Augusta, GA; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Jay) LeBack, Scott (Sarah) Tuttle, Lisa Dor, and Heather (Ryan) Verwiel; two stepgrandchildren, Ronald DeBroux and Julie DeBroux; and nine great-grandchildren, KaTia Nelson, Devin Tuttle, Frankie Tuttle, Saima Tuttle, Reece Verwiel, Addisyn Verwiel, Austin Verwiel, Cory LeBack, and Angela LeBeck. He was preceded in death by a son Frank Tuttle and a brother Charles Tuttle.A funeral service for James will be held Tuesday April 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral home-Westside, Rev. Meredyth Albright officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.James family would like to thank special friend Patty Letourneau and the staff at Theda Care at Home Hospice for all the wonderful care he received.
