James Francis Juneau

March 6, 1952 — February 27, 2016

James Francis Juneau, JJ, passed away unexpectedly on February 27th, 2016 at his home in Oshkosh at the age of 63.Jim was born in Neenah WI to the late Patrick and Elaine (Tuchscherer) Juneau on March 6, 1952, the youngest of four boys. Jim attended Neenah High School, and was employed by American Can/James River Paper Company/Bemis for over 40 years, retiring in June of 2015. JJ is survived by his three brothers: Paul, Robert Michael (Susan), and Peter (Wendy) as well as many nieces, nephews and a wonderful group of friends whom he considered his second family.Jim was a master of practical jokes! While explaining why he could not possibly have pulled the present one, he was working on the next! JJ would always comment with a smile, They still dont know who did it and I want to keep it that way! Life needs some mystery! We bow to a master. When our mothers health failed, Jim visited her daily, sharing meals, doing her shopping, laundry and home maintenance. For this we are indebted to him.Jim was a hard worker who enjoyed life. He readily helped his friends and brothers when needed. He was a great cook whose specialties included split pea & ham soup, and turkey dressing. The world has lost a jewel of a person outgoing, happy and sociable with an easygoing disposition, who laughed constantly and brought joy to others lives. Per Jims wishes, there will be no funeral service, with interment at Saint Margaret Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Jim would probably say, Lighten up, and enjoy life! Besides, he always forgot to water his plants.
