SSG James S. Huntington II, age 50, of Tomah, WI, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at his home.

James was born on December 28, 1974, in Milwaukee, WI, son of James Huntington I and Karol Schwartz. He graduated from high school and continued his education at Rasmussen College. He enlisted in the Army and served his country from Oct 18th 1995 to April 29th 2013. After the military James pursued a career in the medical field.

Whoever knew James knew he was a huge sports fan, Lego lover, and collector of many things ranging from whiskey and bourbon bottles to shoes, and hats. He had a hat for every outfit in his closet.

He is survived by his children, Kayla (Taylor) Crotts, Kelsey Huntington, Katie Huntington, Brianna Huntington, Phoenix and Gryphon Huntington; grandchildren, Sophia, Alaina, Caroline; siblings, Francis Huntington, Paul Schlender, Jeff (Kim) Schlender, Juni Fields, Alvin Schlender, Heidi Klemp. James will also be loved and missed by numerous nieces and nephews

He is preceded in death by, his parents; grandparents; brothers, Lawrence Wilki, William Huntington, and Joel Schlender.

James lived life to the fullest. Forever a giving person and one of the biggest goofballs ever. He always tried to put a smile on everyone's face. Little brother you will forever be in my heart.

A Celebration of Life for James will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 2:00pm till 5:00pm at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh.
