James John Boese

James J. "Jimmy" Boese, 57, of Oshkosh died on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Aurora Medical Center, Oshkosh. He was born on September 1, 1952 in Oshkosh the youngest son of Richard and Gertrude Pilian Boese. Jimmy was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. He had been employed at Hardee's Restaurant were he made many good friends. Jimmy was active at church and enjoyed music, singing. He also enjoyed walks in the park, and having coffee with his friends.Survivors include his sisters, Anita (Tom) Damon of Colorado Springs, CO, Joanne Nesbitt of Sturgeon Bay; brother, Donald (Amy) Boese of Rockford, MI; sister-in-law, Bea Boese of Oshkosh; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alfred and Otto Boese; and brother-in-law James Nesbitt.The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Raphael the Arch Angel Catholic Church (830 Westhaven Dr) with Fr. Jason Blanik officiating. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.A memorial has been established to ARC of Winnebago County Disability Association.
