James L Bruley

James L. Bruley, 66, of Oshkosh died on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Lakeshore Manor with his family by his side. He was born July 20, 1946 in Oshkosh, the son of Duwayne Sr. and Marelline (Schimke) Bruley. James was a graduate of Oshkosh West High School. He retired from SNC Manufacturing. Jims favorite past time was playing cribbage. He would teach anyone who wanted to learn how to play cribbage. He loved to teach family & friends how to play solitaire and cribbage too. He mastered the Wii game of Duck Hunt and many games on his ipod. James was also an avid pool player. James loved the outdoors and had a great respect for nature. He lived his life exactly the way he wanted. It just so happened that he passed away on the fifteenth day of the second month which gave him one more Fifteen-Two. He is survived by three daughters, Tammy Dolley, Beaver Dam, Melissa (Robert) Kendall and Denise (Kevin) Turnmeyer of Oshkosh; his mother, Marcelline Bruley, Oshkosh; three brothers, David (Yvette) of Oshkosh, Dennis (Chong) of Washington, Brian (Debbie) of Neenah and one sister, Karen (Ken) Bringham of Texas. He is further survived by six grand daughters, Heather, Jessica, Victoria, Whittney, Kayli, and Megan; four great grandchildren, Hayli, Dustin, Gabriel, and London and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Duwayne Sr. (1983), his brother Duwayne Butch Jr. (2002), and his son-in-law, Sam Dolley (2006). There will be a memorial service taking place on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes (Eastside) with Rev. Jen Czarnota officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at LakeShore Manor and Generations Hospice. A memorial has been established.
