Janice M Retelle

Janice Marie Retelle 5-3-55Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving partner, Beth Kellesvig, and sister, Lisa Andrews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Cecilia (Cele) Wilde, Edwin Wilde, her siblings, Donald Retelle and Jason Wilde, brother-in-laws, Herb Ratzburg and David Volkman.
Janice shared over 25 years of love, camping, travel and watching Packer games with her loving partner Beth.  Janice was very proud of her service to her country serving in the U.S. Army.  Jan moved back to Oshkosh where she was able to be closer to home and family, her love for her family never ended.  Jan spent years working at Square D and retired from Hoffmaster.
Janice is survived by her siblings Diane Ratzburg, Yvonne Volkman, David (Jeannie) Retelle, Lisa Andrews who will always remember her for the love and strength she always offered them.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews that she showered with love.  She is remembered by her nieces and nephews as a warrior, whose resilience will forever be an inspiration and as another wrote “a bad a** lesbian that always made us feel loved, filled the room with just as much cigarette smoke as laughter”.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 19th from noon to 3:00 pm at Deb’s Spare Time, 1303 Harrison St, Oshkosh. 
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Oshkosh Humane Society.
