Janice Nitschke

Janice Irene Nitschke, 84, of Oshkosh, WI passed away following a short battle with cancer and a broken back from a fall. Jan graduated from Oshkosh High School and worked for Dr. Joseph Petersik and many years for Kimberly-Clark Corp., where she made many lasting friendships.

Jan loved crocheting, word search puzzles, spending time at her cabin on Lily Lake, vacationing in Florida on the Gulf Coast, spoiling several felines over the years, and playing cards with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father (Charles Reed); mother (Daisy L. A. Reed-Wolff); sisters-in-law Betty Nitschke and Dorothy Achterberg; brothers-in-law Carl Potratz, Ivan Achterberg, and Donald Nitschke; and fur-babies Sara, Bambi, Smokey and Shadow.

Jan is survived by her best friend and husband, Roger; daughter Michelle (Ross) Bielema; granddaughter Kalispell Bielema; sister-in-law Arleen Potratz; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held for Jan at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes- West (100 Lake Pointe Dr) from 2-4PM with a memorial service at 4PM on April 12, 2025. A burial will be held at Lake View Memorial Park at 11AM.
