Janice R. Albrecht

Janice R. Albrecht, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2015 at Evergreen Health Center. She was born on July 8, 1920 in Oshkosh the daughter of the late John and Louise (Pesch) Metko. Janice was united in marriage in 1955 to Frank Kimball, he preceded her in death in 1960. She later married Clarence Eny Albrecht in 1964. Janice enjoyed being a waitress at The Roxy; a member of the ladies golf leagues at Lake Shore and Westhaven Golf Course, a member of the ladies Elks and often spent time volunteering at Mercy Medical Center. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.Janice is survived by her son, Brian Kimball, seven grandchildren: Jamie Kimball, Kelsey (Steve Erdman) Kimball, Shelley Irrer, Lori Garcia, Lisa Martinson, Tina Stolz and Tricia Hoeffs, daughter-in-law, Beth Davis, numerous great-grandchildren and special friend, Julie Ehrenberg, special nieces and nephew, Pat Schumerth, Jackie and Steve Gnagi; further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, C. Thomas Hoeffs and James Hoeffs and their father, Chet Hoeffs, husbands: Frank Kimball and Eny Albrecht, four sisters: Vera (Lawrence) Baier, Doreen (Chet) Foley, Beverly (Fred) and Betty Lou (Stan) Pisorski, and one brother, Kenneth Jr. (Jan) Metko.Join us in a celebration of Life at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr., with Fr. Matthew Simonar officiating. Friends and family may join for a time of remembrance at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Private entombment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.The family would like to thank Sandy Foley for all her love and attention that she gave to her Aunt Janice; also, a thank you to Evergreen staff for all the wonderful care and making her part of their extended family. All of your kindness will never be forgotten.
