Jason Gerald Meidl

Jason G. Meidl, age 41, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday April 17, 2012 at his residence. He was born on June 25, 1970 the son of Michael and Jacki Kossik Meidl. Jason graduated in 1988 from Berlin High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Panama, Desert Storm and as an United Nations Peacekeeper. He was a die hard Denver Broncos fan and he was very excited to see Peyton Manning play for them. He like music and his favorite band was Rage Against the Machine. He was a gun expert, excellent carpenter and was very creative.He is survived by his mother Jacki Kossik, his father Michael(Sue) Meidl, his maternal grandmother June Kossik, and uncle Ron Kossik, three aunts Betty Kossik, Patty Christopherson, Mary Kossik, numerous cousins, his best friend Jason Mueller and his little buddy Michael Mueller.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Gerald and Marie Meidl, an aunt Carol Pansier, and maternal grandfather Julius Buzz Kossik.A memorial service for Jason will be held on Saturday April 21, 2012 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Eastside at 4 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Military honors will be performed at the conclusion of the memorial service.
