Jay Adelbert George

Jay Adelbert George, 58, of Oshkosh, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015, in Overland Park, Kansas. He was born September 2, 1956, in Oshkosh.Jay worked at Midwest Metal Scrap Management for 30 years. He also trimmed trees and ran a stumper business.Jay is survived by his father, Adelbert George; sisters, Sandra Sarnowski and Barbara Wright; daughter, Alicia (Michael) George-Gromowski; son, Adam George; aunt, Janice Bottine; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; two great-great-nieces and several cousins.Jay was preceded in death by his mother, Janet George; sister, Dawn; nephew, Corey Harrington; and cousin, Danny Magnuson.Visitation will be on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Lake View Memorial Park from 11am-12pm. Service will be at 12pm with Pastor Mike Magnuson officiating.
