Jean Louise Selwitschka, age 64, passed away at Mercy Medical Center on May 21, 2018. She was born
to William and Carol (Veith) Selwitschka.
Jean was a caring daughter, a special sister, a loving mother and an awesome grandmother.
She worked endlessly on her crafts, perfecting each lovingly to be given to many lucky friends and
family. Included in her many talents were her delicious baked goods which she passed out freely for all
to enjoy.
She worked tirelessly as a Registered Nurse for 30 years and excelled at her nursing positions. She loved
her job and gave selflessly of herself to her patients.
She had a special place in her heart for animals of all kind especially her dogs which she considered as
her children.
Jean is survived by her three children, Tammy Dutcher, Michael (John Beeson) Dutcher, and Cary
(Rachel) Teal; father, William (June) Selwitschka; brother, William Selwitschka Jr; sister, Ruth
Selwitschka; eight grandchildren, Paige, Brittney, and Keri Dutcher, Warren and William Beeson, and
Sean, Katelynn, and Dominic Teal. She is further survived by four great grandchildren, Marilynn Delray
Young, Mark, Thomas, and Naturall Beeson.
Jean is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Selwitschka; and sister, Roberta Lee Selwitschka.
Memorial services for Jean will be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Konrad-Behlman
Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr). Dr. Alan Cleveland will be officiating. A visitation will be held at the
funeral home from 10AM until the time of service
