Jean Ruth Tadych

Jean R. Tadych, 84, of Oshkosh, passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday October 18, 2008 at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born August 8, 1924 in Oshkosh a daughter of Albert and Frieda Wiedenkamp Klemmer. On August 20, 1949 she married James Tadych in Oshkosh.She was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. She worked for 17 years in food service at both Webster Stanley and Oshkosh West. She was a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center, St. Raphael, and the Oshkosh Senior Center. She was involved in the Oshkosh Sno-riders and Oshkosh Boat Club. She belonged to three clogging groups(Oshkosh, Green Bay and Winneconne), she was an avid card player, was a very loving grandmother, loved puddering in her yard and garden and loved doing crafts.She is survived by her husband Jim, three daughters Debra(Kent) Sorensen, Diane(Greg) Van Oudenhoven, Linda(Lee) Ziebell all of Oshkosh, seven grandchildren Lana Siebers, Aaron Siebers both of Neenah, Sara(Jason) Alberts of Oshkosh Lori(George) Eriewa of Cobb, Lance(Alicia) Ziebell of San Antonio, TX., Kyle and Ryan Sorensen of Oshkosh, four great-grandchildren Nicholas Miller, Krystal Alberts, Hunter Alberts, and George Eriewa III.She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Delores Boldt.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday Oct. 21, 2008 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church at 7 p.m. with Father Doug LeCaptain officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to mass. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.A special thank you to the staff of Creekview South at Evergreen Retirement Community for their care of Jean and their special attention given to Jim, and also Dr. Rockes Physican Assistant Mary.
