Born August 15, 1921 in Oshkosh, to Clyde and Leona (Little) Hanson. She loved her music. She learned to play piano, accordion and guitar by herself. She sang and played guitar on many shows and programs around the area. She was chosen along with five other acts from two Barn Dance Shows in Omro, in 1935 and 1937, to go to Chicago and sing on W.L.S. Radio. She also played and sang on KFTZ Radio in Fond du Lac for about a year and WHBY, Oshkosh. She was known as Texas Jean. She gave lessons on all three instruments for about eight years. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. On June 6, 1947 she married Fritz W. Heise at Waukau Methodist Church. They farmed in the Town of Omro until his death on July 3, 1983. On November 17, 1984 she married Andrew Bean at Grace Lutheran Church, in Omro. She sold her farm and moved to Andrews farm in the Town of Utica. She and Andy enjoyed dancing and traveling. She is survived by one stepson, Thomas Bean of Oshkosh, two stepdaughters, Janet (Robert) Gaddis of Sun Prairie and Diane Fletcher of Oshkosh, ten step grandchildren, Bill Gaddis, Matt (Jen) Gaddis, Kristin (Scott) DuCharme, Dan (Tara) Bean, Andy Bean, Alex Bean, Michael Bean, Tara (Ryan)Brzozowski, Cassandra (Jon) Dorn and Justin (Taylor) Fletcher and six great granddaughters, Taylor, Emma, Peyton, Reagan, Julia and Rosalynn. Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside with Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday March 28, 2014 at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Omro Cemetery.
