Jeannie Langlitz

Jeannie M. Langlitz, age 67 was taken into the loving arms of her savior Jesus Christ on Monday December 2, 2013 at Edan Meadows. Jeannie was born September 28, 1946 at Mercy Hospital to Billy and Josephine (Kujawa) Mac Donald. She graduated Oshkosh High School in 1964 and was united in marriage to Robert Langlitz on June 10, 1967.Jeannie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She worked as a secretary at UWO Political Science Department after graduation. She was an integral force in starting the People First Program at the ARC where she was a volunteer and past president.She is survived by her husband Robert, son Scott, Oshkosh, daughter, Lisa (Dan) Obara, Grandson, Riley and Owen Obara, San Jose, CA., sisters, Terri (Gene) Walton, Oshlosh, and Debi Mac Donald, FL., brother-in-law, Mike (Jill) Langlitz, sister-in-law, Sue (Chuck) Oesterreich, nieces, nephews and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents, and infant brother, Dennis and brother Bill Mac Donald.Funeral services for Jeannie will be held on December 7, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Jeff Knoll officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00pm.A memorial has been established at Zion Lutheran Church. Donations can be made to ARC. Jeannies family would like to thank the staff at Aurora ICU and Eden Meadows for the tender care she was given.In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you, and crown your efforts with success.
