Jeffrey Scott Wesner

Jeffrey Scott Wesner, 42, died unexpectedly of a heart attack and broken heart on March 11, 2009 at his home and went into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jeff was fun, smart, caring, and had a quick wit. He could lighten any situation with his words and smile. He loved his daughter Carly with all of his heart. He had a care and compassion for his family that will never be forgotten. He was intelligent, articulate, and his knowledge of all things was incredible. He enjoyed baseball, football and watching the race with his dad. Jeff was a Neenah police officer prior to becoming an invaluable asset as office manager at his adoring brothers office. Jeff is survived by the light of his life, daughter, Carly; parents Wayne and Sally Wesner; brother Corey (Tifani) Wesner; sister Stacey (Greg) Williams; niece Brooklynn Williams; nephews Caleb and Cody Williams; and aunts and uncles Jim and Bev Decker, Howard and Nancy Coombs, Linda and Frank Wiese of Fort Worth, TX, Terry and Pat Wesner, and Marla and Dave Schroeder of Pueblo, CO; as well as many cousins. He had a deep love for his stepchildren Leo and Natalia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Wilbur and Rose Coombs and Arnie and Janet Wesner. The stress that Jeff had endured was remarkable; a tragic accident, upcoming trial, bad press, and divorce were more than a body could handle, especially someone as compassionate and passionate as Jeff. There will be a huge void left in our lives that only God can heal. He will be sadly missed daily. We loved him very much. Funeral services will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home Westside. There will be a visitation from 1pm to 3 pm with a service to follow on Sunday March 15, 2009 with the Reverend Greg Decker officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
