Jerome Bryant

Jerome Bryant, age 87, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Century Oaks. He was born on October 15, 1926 to the late Gerard and Jennie (Phillip) Bryant in Oshkosh, WI. He married the love of his life, Delores Dushenski on October 22, 1949 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Oshkosh, WI.Jerome served his country as a part of the 32nd division in the U.S. Army.He went on to work at Rockwell International as a production line operator.Jerome was also an avid golfer and belonged to Far Vu Golf Course for many years. He was also a sports enthusiast. He was a Brewers and Packers fan and enjoyed watching all the games.He is survived by his daughter, Pam (James) Curtis; son, Jeff (Sharon) Bryant, grandchildren, Kelly Bryant and Lauren Bryant.He was preceded by his parents and wife. He also loved dogs, and will be missed by his dog Mandy. A funeral service for Jerome will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish St. Peter Church. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.The family would like to thank Joy and Kim Dushenski; nurse and friend Susan King, neighbors Dennis & Stacy Resop, Mary Ann Nozar, and Mike & Carol Schroeder. Because of their care, Jerome was able to live in his home until the last five months of his life. Also the family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Heartland Hospice and Century Oaks for the love and compassion that they showed towards Jerome.
