Jo Ann Henderson

Jo Ann Jo Henderson, 68, of Oshkosh died Friday, March 14, 2014, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Jo was born Sept. 11, 1945, in Algona, IA. She was a daughter of Johannes and Pearl Ubben. Jo received her MBA in nursing at UW-Oshkosh and had worked at Mercy Medical Center for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church.Jo is survived by her husband, James of Oshkosh; a daughter, Laura (Charles) Thompson of Rosendale; a son, David Henderson of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Andrew, Eric, and Rachel Thompson and Dustin, Monica, and Alexi Henderson; a brother, Roger (Mary Lou) Ubben of Mechanicsburg, PA; a niece and nephews, Christine (Jason) Boler of Mechanicsburg, PA, Gregg Ubben of Shelby Township, MI, and Douglas (Carolyn) Ubben of Vienna, VA; a great-niece and nephews, Amanda, Nicholas, and William; and a cousin, Avis (Robert) Savre of Longville, MN.She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Janice Westerling; and aunts, Lucille and Pearl Ubben.Private services will be held.
