Joann Last

JoAnn Last, 88, of Oshkosh died on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Bethel Home. She was born on May 29, 1923 in Richland, Iowa the daughter of Ray and Grace Hartley Ward. JoAnn married George Last on January 30, 1953 in Billings, MT.JoAnn was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was a Red Cross Volunteer at the Alexian Brothers Novitiate and Mercy Hospital for over 20 years. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing Tournament Bridge, watching Packer games, and traveling with her husband and friends.Survivors include her husband, George; daughters, Susan Rae (Henry Salazar) of Menasha, Martha (Paul Cain) Last of Oshkosh; one son, Thomas (Laden) Last of Fair Oaks, CA; grandchildren, Luke and Mathew Last; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donald Last; sisters-in-law Rhea Wollangk and Ruth Baier.The funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with Rev. Jakes Voker officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. The Last family would like to thank the staff of Bethel Home for the special care she received.
