Joanne Marie Bernadette

Joanne M. (Klinger) Bernadette, age 63, formerly of Oshkosh, died on October 14, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born on June 23, 1952, in Oshkosh, the daughter of late Melvin V. and Bernadine (Retelle) Klinger. Joanne had attended St. Peter School had worked at Home Depot and was formerly as a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish St. Peter Church. She had graduated from Oshkosh Lourdes in 1970, where she played guitar and sang with the New Dimension. Joanne continued her education at FVTC-Appleton and received her degree in Interior Design. She lived in El Paso, TX, Tucson, AZ and lastly in Phoenix, AZ. Joanne loved animals and was a protector of strays, saving them and finding them homes. She had an infectious smile and a kind heart. Joanne will be sorely missed by her sister-in-law and her long time friends, especially Pat (Westover)Briney.She is survived by her Aunt, Pat Klinger of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law, JoAnn Klinger, of Oshkosh; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Melvin V. - infant, Melvin R. "Mel" and Daryl Klinger.Graveside services for Joanne will held on Saturday October 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery with Fr. James Jugenheimer officiating. A memorial is being established.
