Jody Lynn Avery

Jody Avery, 54, of Waupaca passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017.

She was born in Milwaukee, WI, on August 28, 1962 to Audrey and Lionel Hintz.

Jody was a beloved member of the community that brought joy and light to everyone she came in contact with. Whether she was caring for the elderly at King Veterans Home, leading a Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga class for Sisters of the Sun, or simply just going about her day she always did so with warmth and a smile.

She is survived by her two sons; Mikel Avery, of Chicago, IL; and Gerald Avery, of Los Angeles, CA. Her loving partner Gary Hartleben, siblings Mike, Tony, Lee, Tammy, Lee Ann, and by her granddaughter, Olivia.

Jody was preceded in death by her parents Audrey and Lionel Hintz, and brothers Tom, & Randy Hintz.
