Jody Mittelstaedt

Jody Ann Mittelstaedt, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on July 22, 1956 to James and Joyce (Hensen) St. Mary in Fond du Lac. Jody was married to Matthew Mittelstaedt on May 29, 1993 in Oshkosh.She loved gardening, cooking, and above all else her grandchildren. Jody enjoyed spending time with them and the rest of her family. Jody graduated from Oshkosh North as a part of the class of 1974. She did further her education and went on to do two years of college work. Before retiring she worked for the state of Wisconsin. Jody was a long time member of Most Blessed Sacrament-St. Petes church.She is survived by her husband: Matthew; daughter: Michelle (Kevin) Beulen of Omro; parents: James and Joyce St. Mary; grandchildren: Jacob and Kaitlynn Beulen; sisters: Jeanne (Jeff) Barnard of Virginia and Jolene St. Marie of Oshkosh; and brothers: James (Christine) of Appleton, Jon (Marlene Utter) of Appleton, and Jason (Becky) St. Mary of Neenah. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Jody was preceded in death by a sister Jacqueline and brother Jeffrey.A memorial service for Jody will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish St. Peter church (435 High Ave.) with Fr. James Jugenheimer officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to Most Blessed Sacrament Parish (435 High Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54901).The family would like to send a special thank you to Dani from Heartland Hospice for all the love and care she gave to Jody.
