John Chris Priske

John C. Priske, 90, of the Town of Omro died on Sunday, June 29. 2014 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, King. He was born on January 13, 1924 in Berlin, WI the son of William and Adella Behling Priske. John married Elizabeth Betty Lautenschlager on October 14, 1950 in Oshkosh. Johns loving wife, Betty, preceded him in death on March 2, 2013.John was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Oshkosh. He was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran and an active member of the D.A.V. Post 17. John worked at U.W.-Oshkosh in the maintenance department and with his wife farmed on Leonard Point Rd. for many years. He served as supervisor on the Omro Town Board for many years.Survivors include his sons, Rick Lane and Dennis (Robin) Lane; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren all of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two brothers and four sisters.The funeral service will be on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Noon with the Rev. Ritchie Cole officiating. Family and friends may visit at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Eastside) on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.Johns family would like to thank the caregivers at the veterans home for the kindness they showed during his stay with them.
