John Edwin Bass

John E. Bass, 79, of Oshkosh died Saturday February 7, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born January 30, 1930 a son of the late Joseph M. and Edna Bass. John had worked at Victrylite Candle Co. for many years and was a U. S. Army veteran. He enjoyed reading and gardening. He is survived by a brother Joseph N. Bass of Oshkosh, a brother-in-law Eugene Berger of Oshkosh, and several nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Berger and two brothers George and Hugo. A funeral service for John will be held Tuesday February 10, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-East, Rev. Bill Van De Kreeke officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Johns family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Home, especially Angie, for their help and care.
