John Gary Morton

John Morton age 69, of Oshkosh died on Saturday June 20, 2009 at Aurora Medical Center. John was born in Oshkosh, on January 7, 1940 a son of the late John and Lucile Mosling Morton.John retired from Oshkosh Corporation after 28 years of service. He attended Calvary Lutheran Church in Oshkosh and was a very active member and past president of the Ripon Lions Club He was an avid Packer fan and was a collector of several things. John sponsored scholarships for area youth.Survivors include two brothers, Paul (Karen) Morton, of Neenah and Ralph (Pat) Morton, of Ripon; one sister, Lynne (James) McKnight, of Winter Park, FL; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Tom (Marlys) Regan, of Greenville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 25, 2009 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside at 11:00 AM. with Rev. Philip Bogen officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 AM to the time of service. Interment will be at Omro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial to the Ripon Lions Club or Bethel Home has been established. Special thanks to the staff of 2W at Bethel Home, the staff at Aurora Medical Center and Aurora Hospice for their wonderful care provided to John.
