John W Nourse

John W. Nourse ,90, was reunited with his wife in eternal life on October 8, 2014. He died peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born March 27, 1924 in the Town of Warren, Waushara County Wisconsin the son of Howard and Lavina (Briggs) Nourse.John married Lulu May Beulen on 8/30/1943. They were together for over 60 years before Lulu preceded him in death on 5/1/2004. He was also preceded in death by; Son in law Dan Lemerande 4/24/2004, Daughter Linda Lemerande on 6/14/2014, Daughter-in law Loretta Nourse on 4/23/2013, and 4 brothers and 3 sistersTogether they raised seven children and he is survived by six. John (Kathy) Nourse Sheboygan, WI. / James (Loretta) Nourse Oshkosh, Wi /Raymond Nourse Bremerton,Wa / Lorna (Glen) Krause Silverdale,Wa. / Daniel (Cathy) Nourse-Wautoma,Wi and Mary (Joe) Sosinski Oshkosh, Wi.Further survived by 21 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great great grandchildren.He was a beloved husband, father, grand father. John enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren grow up and would save newspaper articles of their accomplishments. Education was important and quitting school was not an option. All seven of his children graduated from high school. John enjoyed the outdoors especially his time spent hunting with family and friends He loved watching baseball live or on tv. He was always willing to help family, friends and neighbors in any way he could.John worked various jobs before being employed at Universal Foundry from which he retired after 34 years.Services will take place on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Konrad Behlman- Westside. Visitation will be from 9am until the time of services at 11am, with Rev. William Van De Kreeke officiating. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Affinity Visiting Nurses Hospice Staff for their caring and dedication to our father and family.
