Joseph J. Troudt

Joe “PaPa” Troudt, age 82 of Oshkosh, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 1, 1934 in Oshkosh, the youngest son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Troudt. After graduating high school Joe was united in marriage to Judith Bauer on February 20, 1954 in Oceanside, CA; where he was stationed while enlisted in the US Marine Corp. Upon discharge Joe and Judy returned to Oshkosh and he attended technical school and received a degree in business. Joe was employed at Radford Company for many years as a successful salesperson. Joe was an avid golfer for many years at Lakeshore Golf Course, where he met many friends on the greens.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Judy of 63 years, three daughters: Angela (Greg) Schaefer, Jody (Jim Giunta) Troudt and Tracy (John Wrasse) Troudt; three grandchildren: Ryan, Bailey and Sam (fiancée Claire).
Joe’s wishes were to have a private family service and to be entombed at Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Oshkosh Senior Center and the Lakeshore Municipal Golf Course for the many great times and wonderful friendships that were made throughout the years. A thank you also to Aurora Hospital, Evergreen and Aurora Hospice for all their care and compassion that was given to Joe.
