Joseph William Johnston

Joseph William Johnston, Jr. passed away on October 12, 2007. He was born to Viola and Joseph William Johnston, Sr. on February 16, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York. Joe earned his bachelors degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. During his lifetime, Joe was employed by the National Bank of North America, Arab Banking Corporation, ERA Realtors, Professional Realty and Development Corporation, and several other major corporations. Joe was one of the best hosts for dinner parties, giving the most elegant experience to his guests. Joe enjoyed reading and gardening, as well as appreciating the architecture of buildings and homes in the Fox Valley area. Joe is survived by one son, Christopher Johnston of Annandale, Virginia, his mother, Viola Johnston of Spring Hill, Florida, his sister, Susan Schnelle of Malverne, New York, nephews Jason and Lee Schnelle, aunt, Ethel Kehrbaum, uncle William Beckmann, as well as cousins Bill Beckmann, Chuck Beckmann, Carolyn Asgaard-Jensen, Kathleen Bloomer and Marjorie Kaufmann. Joe is also survived by special friend, Ross Gerdes, of Neenah, Wisconsin, as well as many other close friends and acquaintances.Joe was preceded in death by his father Joseph William Johnston, Sr.With Josephs wishes, no visitation or service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 402 Waugoo Avenue, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, 54901.
