Josephine Alpha Mcallister

Josephine A. McAllister, age 90, died on March 30, 2008 at Brewster Village in Appleton, Wisconsin.She was born September 21, 1917 to Barney and Anna (DeGodt) Stoffel in Sturgeon Bay, WI. She married Edward A. McAllister in 1936. They shared 58 years together until his death on September 6, 1994.Jo is survived by a son, Wayland (Kay) McAllister, Fernandino Beach, FL and five daughters; Elizabeth J. McAllister, Green Bay, WI, Polly (Phil) Spindt, St. Helena, Island, SC, Pam (Tom) Lytle, Houston, TX, Carole (Ken) Kotloski, Oshkosh, WI and Debra Erickson of Appleton, Wisconsin. She will be lovingly remembered as Grandma Mac by 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.She is further survived by two sisters, Lillian Nelson, Milwaukee, WI and Ann (Robert) Strege of Neenah, WI and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband, Jo was preceded in death by a son, Gary Edward; a grandson, Scott; a brother Wallace and a sister, Bernice Larson.In accordance with her wishes there will be a private family service with burial at Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
