Josephine Edith Hagie

Josephine Jo E. Hagie, age 81, of Oshkosh, died Monday November 2, 2009 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born on July 2, 1928 in Eagle, Wisconsin to Cecil and Janice Wingerter Minette. On March 14, 1947 she married Donald Hagie in Neillsville. Her and Donald resided in that area until moving to Oshkosh in 1961.She worked as a secretary to the Oshkosh Police Department and the Airport Manager. After retiring from these jobs she volunteered at Mercy Medical Center and for the EAA convention for 20 years.In 1988 Jo and Don started traveling and settled in Arizona in 1994. In 2004 they returned to their previous home in Oshkosh.She is survived by her husband, Donald, one son Bruce, one daughter Sandra(Terry) Moths, four grandchildren Christopher, Scott, and Laura Hagie and Casey(Adam) Moths, one sister-in-law Elizabeth Minette, two nieces, and a dear friend Elizabeth Moths.She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother William Minette.Private family services will be held.
