Joshua Carrick, 26, of Oshkosh, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on June 19, 1986 in Oshkosh the son of Steven and Joyce (Wright) Carrick. On September 25, 2010 he married Amy Wideman in Oshkosh. He was employed at Art Unlimited Sportswear and played in the band, Roses for the Dead, and enjoyed playing darts, softball, and air soft. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and enjoyed going to Jerrys Bar. Survivors include his wife, Amy; step father, Ivan Craig Jr. of Oshkosh; brother, Christopher (Kim Stephen) Carrick of Oshkosh; sister, Julie Trams of Neenah; mother and father-in-law, Kathy and Terry Wohler of Oshkosh; grandparents, LaVerne Carrick of Green Bay, Alan Davidson of Hastings MN, Elaine and Ivan Craig Sr. of Oshkosh; niece, Elizabeth Trams; uncles, Doug (Cindy) Carrick of Clintonville, David (Linda) Wright of Racine, Brad (Laurie) Wright of Minneapolis, Gary (Debbie) Craig, of Pickett; aunt, Betty (Chuck) Hughes of Bloomington, MN; many cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Joyce; infant sister, Jennifer Carrick; and brother-in-law, Jonathan Trams. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church (1860 Wisconsin St) with the Rev. Kemp Jones officiating. Family and friend may visit at the church on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
