Joyce Adair Parsons

Joyce A. Parsons, 81, of Oshkosh passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center and is now in her eternal home in heaven. She was born April 17, 1932 in Redgranite, WI, a daughter of the late Warren and Alma Moon. She never lost her love of the Redgranite community, especially Pearl Lake where she happily lived for many years.Joyce enjoyed gardening, making jewelry, fishing, and taking care of her pets Little Bit and Tweety. She took special joy in being with all her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She also enjoyed watching the Packers and playing cards with her sister-in-law Sandy.Joyce is survived and will be sadly missed by her daughter, Pamela (Robert) Newell of Oshkosh, two sons, Mark Neitzel and Mitchel (Sherry) Meton both of Oshkosh; one brother, Dennis (Chris) Moon; grandchildren include Heather (Brian) Weust, Ashley (Chris Deblois) Meton, and Keira Neitzel, and one great-grandson, Scott Weust. She was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Decker, two brothers Donald Moon and Richard Moon, and her special friend Abe Blankenship. Joyce's family would like to extend a special thank you to Mercy Medical Center, Affinity Hospice, Dr. Klinkhammer, and Dr. Jing for their compassionate care of our mother and grandmother, who was the love of our lives. A visitation service for Joyce will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside on Lake Point Drive. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation.
