Joyce Marie Moss

Joyce M. Moss, 70 of Oshkosh, died Monday April 11, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Oshkosh on May 16, 1940 the daughter of Milton and Marcella Grassl Galow. On August 11, 1962 she married Norman Moss.Joyce was a lifetime member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church and the Grace Circle. She had been a teacher in Lompoc, CA and Omro, WI for a year at each. She was a full time mother and grandmother. Joyce had been a 4H leader which may explain her love for all animals. She loved Sunday shopping at Walmart with Jennie and Thursday nights were Greys Anatomy nights at Jenny and Als. She loved her grandchildren and often had them over for lunch. She also enjoyed shopping for them. She made meals for the high school kids. All holidays were special at her house, but Christmas Eve was especially so. She loved snow, but also happy to see it go so she could plant her flower garden. She had a deep appreciation for music which she passed on to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed a good book and going to the library. She loved going to the movies and communicating on her computer.She is survived by her husband, Norman Moss; sons, Russell (Phyllis) Moss, Randy Moss, and Bryon (Kristen) Moss; daughter, Jennifer (Alan) Hollis Jr; and eight grandchildren, Alexander, Rebecca, David, Emily, Ashley, Abigail, Deven, and Sasha all of Oshkosh.Her funeral will be April 14, 2011 at 6:00 PM at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Jeffrey Duquaine officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 3:30 PM until the time of the funeral. A memorial has been established.
