Judith A. Blackmore, age 68, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born to LeRoy and Erna DeRidder on June 29, 1953, in Milwaukee.
Judith married Glen on July 31, 1971. Their 50 years together was a love like no other.
Judith was a child at heart and her laughter filled the room. As a teenager, she loved roller skating and was on a dance skate team. She touched many hearts in the restaurants she worked. She loved her children and spoiled her grandchildren, going to theme parks, zoos, and carnivals with them. She loved baking Christmas cookies every year with her children and grandchildren.
Judith is survived by her husband, Glen; son, Ken (Leanne) Blackmore; daughter, Carol (significant other, Kevin Van Gruensven) Blackmore; grandchildren, Fallon and Ashley Buchholz, and Alana and Logan Blackmore; and her mother-in-law, Minnie Blackmore. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas DeRidder.
A service for Judith will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Friday, December 31, 2021, at 11 AM. Rev. Greg Koepsell will be officiating. A visitation will take place at church from 10 AM until the time of service. Family is requesting that everyone wear masks.
