There are people in this world who light up the lives of those around them. Their inner spirit is so strong that it radiates to everyone they touch. You can’t help but smile when they are around because they bring you so much joy.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our mother, Judith Bauer Troudt. She passed away peacefully the evening of Sunday, August 4th 2019. Preceding her in death was her husband, Joe Troudt “her forever boyfriend”.
Judy was the business owner of Bauer Luggage, the fourth generation to be associated with the store, and later worked at Collector’s Gallery making lifelong friends along the way. Judy was kind, generous, and genuine. She loved to help others as apparent through her many hours of volunteering at Aurora Hospital Gift Shop, Oshkosh Senior Center and the Oshkosh Public Library.
She is survived by her daughters, Angela (Greg) Schaefer, Jody “Robin” Troudt, and Tracy Troudt (John Wrasse). Judy especially loved being “Mimi” to her grandchildren, Ryan, Bailey, and Sam (Claire).
The family would like to thank her many life-long friends whom she considered family.
A special thank you to Dr. Alzoubi, Aurora Medical Staff, and Aurora Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
Judy’s wishes were to have a private family service and to be entombed at Lake View Memorial Park with her husband.
